BaldCare biedt contextgestuurde AI-hoofdhuidanalyse op basis van foto's die je zelf aanlevert, persoonlijk verzorgingsadvies, productaanbevelingen en voortgangstracking op het gebied van hoofdhuidverzorging, scheren en zonbescherming. Bij het starten van een analyse kies je een context, zoals na het scheren of na zonblootstelling, zodat de AI gericht advies kan geven voor die specifieke situatie. Het analyseresultaat wordt gekoppeld aan de bijbehorende foto en lokaal op je toestel bewaard. De app is ontworpen om kale mannen te ondersteunen bij het onderhouden en verbeteren van hun verzorgingsroutine. BaldCare is beschikbaar in het Nederlands en Engels.

BaldCare is niet bedoeld voor kinderen van 13 jaar en jonger. Door de app te gebruiken, bevestig je dat je aan deze leeftijdseis voldoet.

BaldCare biedt uitsluitend algemene informatie en begeleiding. De app biedt geen medisch advies, diagnose of behandeling. Informatie van BaldCare vervangt nooit het advies van een gekwalificeerde arts, dermatoloog of andere zorgprofessional. Heb je zorgen over je hoofdhuid, huid of gezondheid, raadpleeg dan een passende zorgprofessional.

BaldCare maakt gebruik van kunstmatige intelligentie van Anthropic (Claude). AI-gegenereerde aanbevelingen, analyses en antwoorden kunnen onjuist, onvolledig, verouderd, of niet passend zijn voor jouw specifieke situatie. Hoewel we streven naar bruikbare en accurate informatie, garandeert BaldCare niet de juistheid, volledigheid of betrouwbaarheid van AI-gegenereerde resultaten. Beschouw AI-gegenereerde informatie altijd als algemene richtlijn, niet als vervanging voor professioneel advies.

Bepaalde functies laten je foto's selecteren of informatie aanleveren voor AI-analyse en persoonlijke aanbevelingen. Je bent er zelf verantwoordelijk voor dat je het recht hebt om aangeleverde foto's te uploaden, dat foto's geen illegale, schadelijke of ongepaste content bevatten, en dat je geen foto's van een ander uploadt zonder diens toestemming. BaldCare maakt geen aanspraak op eigendom van door gebruikers aangeleverde content.

BaldCare biedt Premium-functies aan via Apple's App Store. Abonnementen worden aangeschaft via je Apple ID-account, gefactureerd door Apple, en automatisch verlengd tenzij je vóór de verlengingsdatum opzegt. Je beheert of zegt je abonnement op via je Apple ID-abonnementsinstellingen. BaldCare heeft geen toegang tot je betaalgegevens. Terugbetalingen, factureringskwesties of betalingsgeschillen worden afgehandeld volgens het beleid van Apple's App Store.

Heb je eerder een Premium-abonnement aangeschaft, dan kun je die aankoop herstellen via Apple's herstelfunctie voor abonnementen.

Je stemt ermee in om BaldCare niet te gebruiken voor onwettige doeleinden, niet te proberen de systemen van de app te benaderen, aan te passen of te verstoren, de app niet te reverse-engineeren, kopiëren, aanpassen of distribueren zonder toestemming, AI-functionaliteit niet te misbruiken of te proberen gebruikslimieten te omzeilen, en geen content te uploaden die in strijd is met toepasselijke wetgeving of de rechten van anderen.

BaldCare verleent je een beperkte, persoonlijke, niet-exclusieve, niet-overdraagbare licentie om de app voor persoonlijke doeleinden te gebruiken. Alle rechten op de app, inclusief de software, huisstijl, logo's, ontwerpen, teksten en functies, blijven eigendom van de ontwikkelaar van BaldCare, tenzij anders vermeld.

BaldCare kan productaanbevelingen en links naar externe websites, winkels en video's tonen, uitsluitend ter informatie. BaldCare garandeert niet de beschikbaarheid, prijs of kwaliteit van aanbevolen producten, of het resultaat van het gebruik ervan. Aankopen via externe diensten vallen onder de voorwaarden en het privacybeleid van die derde partijen.

BaldCare maakt gebruik van diensten van derden om bepaalde functionaliteit te leveren, waaronder AI-verwerking. Deze derde partijen werken volgens hun eigen voorwaarden en privacybeleid. BaldCare is niet verantwoordelijk voor de werkwijze, beschikbaarheid of inhoud van diensten van derden.

Voor zover maximaal toegestaan door de toepasselijke wetgeving, is BaldCare niet aansprakelijk voor verlies als gevolg van het vertrouwen op AI-gegenereerde informatie, resultaten van het gebruik van aanbevolen producten, technische onderbrekingen, of indirecte of gevolgschade. Je gebruikt BaldCare naar eigen inzicht en op eigen risico.

We streven ernaar BaldCare beschikbaar en goed werkend te houden, maar kunnen ononderbroken toegang niet garanderen. Functies kunnen worden gewijzigd, bijgewerkt of verwijderd om de app te verbeteren.

Je kunt op elk moment stoppen met het gebruik van BaldCare door de app te verwijderen. We behouden ons het recht voor om toegang te beperken of te beëindigen bij schending van deze voorwaarden of misbruik van de app.

Deze voorwaarden kunnen worden bijgewerkt wanneer nieuwe functies, diensten of wettelijke vereisten worden geïntroduceerd. De meest actuele versie is altijd beschikbaar in de app of op onze website. Gebruik je BaldCare na wijzigingen, dan accepteer je daarmee de bijgewerkte voorwaarden.

Op deze voorwaarden is Nederlands recht van toepassing. Geschillen worden behandeld volgens toepasselijk Nederlands recht.

BaldCare provides context-driven AI scalp analysis using photos you choose to submit, personalised scalp care guidance, product recommendations, and progress tracking related to scalp care, shaving and sun protection. When starting an analysis, you choose a context, such as after shaving or after sun exposure, so the AI can provide targeted advice for that specific situation. The analysis result is linked to the corresponding photo and stored locally on your device. The app is designed to support bald men in maintaining and improving their scalp care routine. BaldCare is available in Dutch and English.

BaldCare is not intended for children aged 13 and younger. By using the application, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement.

BaldCare provides general information and guidance only. The application does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Information provided by BaldCare should not replace advice from a qualified doctor, dermatologist or healthcare professional. If you have concerns about your scalp, skin or health, consult an appropriate healthcare professional.

BaldCare uses artificial intelligence technology provided by Anthropic (Claude). Certain features allow you to select photos or provide information for AI analysis and personalised recommendations. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload any photos you provide, that photos do not contain illegal, harmful or inappropriate content, and that you do not upload photos of another person without their permission. BaldCare does not claim ownership of user-provided content.

BaldCare offers Premium features through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions are purchased through your Apple ID account, billed by Apple, and automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. BaldCare does not have access to your payment details. Refunds, billing issues or payment disputes are handled according to Apple's App Store policies.

If you have previously purchased a Premium subscription, you can restore your purchase through Apple's subscription restoration functionality.

You agree not to use BaldCare for unlawful purposes, attempt to access, modify or interfere with the application's systems, reverse engineer, copy, modify or distribute the application without permission, abuse AI functionality or attempt to bypass usage limits, or upload content that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

BaldCare grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the application for personal purposes. All rights, title and interest in the application, including its software, branding, logos, designs, texts and features, remain the property of the BaldCare developer unless otherwise stated.

BaldCare may provide product recommendations and links to external websites, shops and videos, provided for informational purposes only. BaldCare does not guarantee the availability, price or quality of recommended products, or the results from using them. Purchases made through external services are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

BaldCare uses third-party services to provide certain functionality, including AI processing. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. BaldCare is not responsible for the practices, availability or content of third-party services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BaldCare is not liable for losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated information, results from using recommended products, technical interruptions, or indirect or consequential damages. You use BaldCare at your own discretion and risk.

We aim to keep BaldCare available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be changed, updated or removed to improve the application.

You may stop using BaldCare at any time by deleting the application. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if these terms are violated or if the application is misused.

These terms may be updated when new features, services or legal requirements are introduced. The most current version is always available within the application or on our website. Continued use of BaldCare after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled according to applicable Dutch law.
