Maak een foto van je hoofdhuid en kies een analysecontext, zoals na het scheren of na zonblootstelling. Claude (de AI van Anthropic) analyseert vervolgens gericht op die situatie en geeft persoonlijk advies. De analyse omvat huidtype, gevoeligheid, glansniveau, conditie en zonschade-risico. Het resultaat wordt opgeslagen bij je voortgangsfoto. Bij de eerste keer verschijnt een kort toestemmingsscherm, omdat je foto naar Anthropic wordt verstuurd.

Met de gratis versie heb je elke maand 1 gratis hoofdhuid-analyse en 5 chatberichten, plus volledige toegang tot alle tips, video-suggesties en productaanbevelingen. Met Premium heb je 15 analyses en 300 chatberichten per maand, plus gepersonaliseerde herinneringen. Je kunt upgraden via Instellingen → Abonnement.

De video's in de Ontdek-tab zijn zorgvuldig geselecteerde YouTube-suggesties van externe experts op het gebied van scheertechnieken en hoofdhuidverzorging. Ze zijn niet van BaldCare zelf. Je wordt bij het tikken doorgestuurd naar de YouTube-app of browser.

Je profielgegevens, voortgangsfoto's en analyseresultaten worden lokaal op je toestel opgeslagen en nooit gedeeld met derden. Foto's die je laat analyseren worden verstuurd naar Anthropic voor verwerking, maar worden daarna niet bewaard door BaldCare. Zie ons Privacybeleid voor de details.

Ga naar Instellingen → Voorkeuren → Taal en kies Nederlands of English. De app past zich direct aan zonder herstart.

Ga naar Instellingen → Notificaties en zet de hoofdschakelaar aan. Je kunt per type melding (scheerherinnering, zonbescherming, etc.) kiezen wat je wel en niet wilt ontvangen.

Ga naar Instellingen → Account → Account info. Je naam is vrij bewerkbaar en optioneel. Je kunt ook een profielfoto uploaden. Je e-mailadres is op dit moment niet wijzigbaar; dit volgt in een toekomstige update.

Gedeeltelijk. Alle tips, je profiel en de productaanbevelingen werken volledig offline. De AI-chat en hoofdhuid-analyse hebben wel een internetverbinding nodig, omdat ze door Claude (Anthropic) worden verwerkt. De video-suggesties openen YouTube en vereisen ook een verbinding.

Take a photo of your scalp and choose an analysis context, such as after shaving or after sun exposure. Claude (Anthropic's AI) then analyses your scalp specifically for that situation and provides personalised advice. The analysis covers skin type, sensitivity, shine level, condition and sun damage risk. The result is saved alongside your progress photo. The first time, a brief consent screen appears since your photo is sent to Anthropic for processing.

With the free version you get 1 scalp analysis and 5 chat messages per month, plus full access to all tips, video suggestions and product recommendations. With Premium you get 15 analyses and 300 chat messages per month, plus personalised reminders. You can upgrade via Settings → Subscription.

The videos in the Discover tab are carefully selected YouTube suggestions from external experts in shaving techniques and scalp care. They are not from BaldCare itself. Tapping a video will open the YouTube app or your browser.

Your profile data, progress photos and analysis results are stored locally on your device and never shared with third parties. Photos submitted for analysis are sent to Anthropic for processing but are not retained by BaldCare afterwards. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Go to Settings → Preferences → Language and choose Nederlands or English. The app updates immediately without restarting.

Go to Settings → Notifications and turn on the main toggle. You can then choose per type (shave reminder, sun protection, etc.) which ones you want to receive.

Go to Settings → Account → Account info. Your name is freely editable and optional. You can also upload a profile photo. Your email address cannot be changed yet; this will follow in a future update.

Partially. All tips, your profile and product recommendations work fully offline. AI chat and scalp analysis do require an internet connection, since they're processed by Claude (Anthropic). Video suggestions open YouTube and also need a connection.
